1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the PropHand mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
PropHand is a digital property management platform that helps landlords and property owners manage rental properties, track payments, manage tenants, and generate financial reports. The App is available on iOS and Android devices.
3. Account Registration
- You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
- You must be at least 18 years old to use PropHand.
- One person may not maintain more than one account.
4. Acceptable Use
You may not:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Upload false, misleading, or fraudulent property information
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other accounts or systems
- Interfere with the proper functioning of the App
- Reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the App
5. Property & Financial Data
You are solely responsible for the accuracy of property, tenant, and financial data you enter into PropHand. We provide tools for management and reporting but do not verify the accuracy of user-submitted data. PropHand is not a substitute for professional accounting or legal advice.
6. Fees & Payments
PropHand is free to download. Certain premium features may require a subscription. Pricing details will be clearly displayed before purchase. All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.
7. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of the App — including design, logos, text, and code — are owned by PropHand and protected by intellectual property law. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App without prior written consent.
8. Limitation of Liability
PropHand is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the 3 months preceding the claim.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through the App settings. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
11. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the App. Continued use after modification constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
